Our client in the safety industry is currently looking for a passionate Sales Representative to sell their portfolio of products within the mining and tunneling industries in the United States and Canada. The foundation for this is a technical background that brings industry and market knowledge in order to develop current and potential customer relationships.We will provide a challenging and rewarding work environment where you will be generously rewarded based on your efforts.

    Requirements:

  • Meet sales targets through effective planning and budgeting.
  • Devise strategies and tactics for new business and new markets.
  • Develop and manage existing accounts while identifying other potential opportunities and projects.
  • Financial and contractual negotiations and reviews.
  • Populate and keep current all sales tools, such as the CRM.
  • Regular travel to customer facilities, expos, tradeshows, and company offices, as required (25% travel).
  • Submit regular updates and financial reports to the General Manager on sales progress and new business won.
  • Commission and train customers on products sold.

  • Technical Skills we require from you:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ capital sales experience.
  • Ability to understand how our products work (electrical, pneumatic, and networking).
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills.

  • Advantageous skills you may have…

  • Previous mining or tunneling experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing company.
  • ISO9001:2015 experience.
  • Engineering degree.
  • SAP Business One experience.
  • Management experience
