Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently looking for a passionate Inventory Clerk to enhance their production team.
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail coupled with accurate record keeping..
To be a success, You will……
- Receive and collect inventory from vendors.
- Cycle counting and verifying physical count of stock against the system. Adjusting errors in count and investigating and reporting reasons for discrepancies.
- Pre-assembly of subcomponents used in manufactured products.
- Compare inventory to purchase orders and inventory lists.
- Organization and management of the stock room.
- Pick inventory for Production Work Orders (PWO’s).
- Assist with ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained for production and service.
- Highlight inventory shortage observed during stocking of inventory.
- Physical receipt of inventory from vendors and input into SAP.
- Compare inventory to purchase orders and inventory lists.
- Re-organization, management, and maintenance of the stockroom.
- Assist with coordination and management of cycle and year-end inventory counts.
- Assist Logistics with a goal to be able to back up existing team members which includes but is not limited to hazmat shipping.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and document control.
- Assist the Operations Department with other tasks as required.
- Acquire and maintain all necessary certifications to operate all machinery and equipment used at the MineARC® facility.
- Actively participate in MineARC’s 5S program to continuously improve workplace processes.
- General housekeeping of MineARC facilities and other duties as assigned.
- Adhering to safety standard and promoting a safe work environment.
What we require from you……
- Basic computing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Current driver’s license.
Advantageous skills you may have……
- Hazmat shipping experience
- SAP Business One
- Previous employment in a manufacturing environment.
