Our client in the logistics industry is looking for an effective Carrier
Sales Representative that plays a vital role in our clients operation’s structure. The ideal candidate
will have exceptional communication skills coupled with a go getter attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, qualifying, and adding carriers to your network
- Maintaining and developing close relationships with carriers through daily communication
- Continually reviewing carriers’ capacity, to identify growth opportunities
- Observing and applying knowledge of the freight market’s trends and seasons
- Negotiating rates with your carrier network, through daily follow-up calls
- Strategizing with your Account Executives and Management team to provide capacity solutions for current and prospective customers
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of logistics experience (3PLpreferred)
