Job Description
Our client in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Java Architect. To qualify, the
candidate must have experience in an architect role for over 3 years, have strong
communication, presentation and advisory skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Java Architect will define technical solutions and a unified framework from the design and
architecture through development, testing, and release
- Provide guidance to developers and other stakeholders on architectural best practices,
guidelines, and standards to make sure the features are delivered in time and with good
quality
- As a Java Architect, you will have understanding of secure coding and design practices
- Play a leading role in supporting and enhancing the architecture and the framework of Web
applications
- Conduct performance-testing by using application profiler and load-testing tool
- Java Architects are responsible for end to end design and solution by collaborating with the
team
- Participate in Proof-Of-Concepts and Spike Solutions, and provide -Reference Architecturesand -Baseline Implementations- when appropriate
- Ensure all Non-Functional Requirements (e.g. performance, availability and fail-over,
scalability, security, etc.) are properly articulated, and work with all parties to guarantee
that the software products that are delivered meet these objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of serving in an Architect role
- Spec, design, develop, and debug scalable and high-performance, service-based web
applications
- Experience in J2EE Technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB, Web services), Java, Spring Boot,
Advanced SQL
- API design principles
- Experience in a SOA architecture designing; With a focus on applications in Java/J2EE and
related infrastructure components
- Experience designing, building, refactoring impactful IT systems
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Exposure to a wide range of technologies including enterprise application integration,
database design and configuration, web applications, operating platforms, security, and
networking
- Hybris knowledge
- Strong communication, presentation, and advisory skills
