Sales Representative

Our client in the Safety Technology industry is looking to add a Sales Representative to their Dallas location. The ideal candidate must have capital sales experience and the willingness to travel.

To be a success. You will……

  • Meet sales targets through effective planning and budgeting.
  • Devise strategies and tactics for new business and new markets.
  • Develop and manage existing accounts while identifying other potential opportunities and projects.
  • Financial and contractual negotiations and reviews.
  • Populate and keep current all sales tools, such as the CRM.
  • Regular travel to customer facilities, expos, tradeshows, and company offices, as required (25% travel).
  • Submit regular updates and financial reports to the General Manager on sales progress and new business won.
  • Commission and train customers on products sold.

Technical Skills we require from you:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3+ years’ capital sales experience.
  • Ability to understand how our products work (electrical, pneumatic, and networking).
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • A thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills.

Personal skills we require from you:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to negotiate with and positively influence others.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Advantageous skills you may have……

  • Previous mining or tunneling experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing company.
  • ISO9001:2015 experience.
  • Engineering degree.
  • SAP Business One experience.
  • Management experience.
